Sana Ahmed is a Ph.D. student in sociology at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her B.S. in sociology and math from Tufts University, where she developed her interests in stratification within public education based on students' race, class, and gender. Currently, she is pursuing a project that looks at the relationship between school type and student selection and outcomes.
