Courtney Boen and Atheendar Venkataramani receive $250,000 in Funding for Project: "Impact of State Incarceration Policies on Racial Health Equity"

Courtney Boen, Assistant Professor of Sociology, and Atheendar Venkataramani, Assistant Professor of Medical Ethics and Health Policy, were awarded $250,000 from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Policies for Action: Public Policy Research to Advance Racial Equity and Racial Justice Program. They were awarded this funding for their project titled, "Impact of State Incarceration Policies on Racial Health Equity", which is set to investigate over a two-year timeline the links between state incarceration policy and racial health disparities across the life course.
